Do You Have What It Takes To Be Successful?

Misc

Whatever you want in life, you can have! That’s not an advertisement pitch or gimmick. That’s the truth. Whatever you want, you can make it happen. If it’s money, you can make a ton of it. If it’s fame, you can make that happen as well. Whatever it is, you name it; it is yours to take. Yet, life has a natural checkpoint that guards the path to your desires, and it’s called testing.

Life has a system that separates the deserving from those who set a lofty goal but lack a plan to achieve it. The test of life will be that determining factor. You need strategy and perseverance to win at betting, as with Bet20. Achieving life goals demands dedication and resilience.

Let’s look at the money example from above. If you want to make a ton of money, life will test your will to see if you are committed to this. Life will test to see if you’re willing to arrive early to work and be the last to leave. Life will know if you are eager to live on a strict budget to get out of debt. Life will take note to see whether you are living within your means.

Life will sometimes throw curveballs. You may find yourself getting a job promotion or extra income, which is great! But life is watching to see if you lose your desire for wealth by spending unnecessarily. With your “extra” money, life will determine whether you’re serious about success.

Inky Johnson: A Testament to Perseverance and Determination

Your will to achieve something determines how far you go. Ask most celebrities who had to work for what they have today. Most of them will tell you that they had many setbacks and denials. Yet, they kept believing in their dream and persevered. One of my all-time favorite success stories is Inky Johnson. Inky would tell his story like this:

“He grew up in a one-bedroom home with 14 people, often sleeping on the floor with roaches and rats. His uncles were frequently in and out of prison. Despite this, he dreamed of attending the NFL to escape his circumstances. He would stay behind for extra drills after his mom’s shift at Wendy’s. He was determined to ensure she never had to work again. Multiple high school injuries didn’t stop him. His hard work earned him a full scholarship to the University of Tennessee. Just ten games away from being drafted into the NFL, a career-ending tackle changed his path. Even after the devastating news, he kept asking his doctors, ‘When can I play football again?’

The Power of Determination and Resilience: A Personal Journey

Despite his circumstances, Inky was determined to pursue his will. Although he is not playing in the NFL, he still travels around the US as a motivational speaker to NFL teams. Although his path to the NFL was altered slightly, his will remained unchanged.

Growing up, my mom always reminded me of this. She said that my will would shape my future when I faced opportunities or decisions. Those words still hold today. Here’s a more personal example. I have developed writing skills and have a natural gift for it. This realization sparked my idea to create a blog. Yet, not seeing what I expected in the real world can become discouraging over time. I expected to have hundreds, if not thousands, of readers. I expected countless subscribers. Yet, that is not my reality right now. I am testing my life to see if I will achieve success. It’s because of my hard work.

Final Thoughts

The principle of resilience and steadfastness in the face of adversity is timeless. Even in old texts, outside forces may try to challenge and weaken a person’s resolve. The key message is to stay diligent, steadfast, and anchored in core beliefs and values. This will prevent these trials from leading to harm or failure. By staying strong and persevering, a person can endure and beat any tests or attacks they face.
