Aang (12 BSC-153 ASC) is a fictional character in the animated television series Avatar: The Legend of Korra. The character was created by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko and is voiced by D.B. Sweeney. Aang is an air nomad in a world that consist of four nations (air, fire, earth and water). The avatar (Aang) is able to communicate with their past lives and can manipulate, “bend”, all four elements. Season 2 ushers in a new avatar, Korra. At the end of the first episodes Korra loses her ability to bend then communicates with her past life, Aang, who gives this quote then gives back her bending abilities.
