Thought of the Day
I was looking things over last night and realized that I, for some strange reason had not added humor to this site. That was not intentional, just an oversight and one that I aim to remedy starting today. Laughter is the best medicine, humor is the tonic for the soul, no matter how bad we feel, no matter how bad a day we may have, simple laughter will lift the burden on our hearts and make us feel that all is better.
Joke of the Week
I was walking down the street the other day when I saw my old friend Bubba driving by in a new truck. So I yelled at him, “Hey Bubba, nice truck! Where did you get it?” To which he replied, “Peggy Sue give to me” “Peggy Sue gave it to you.” I said, “Why did she do that?” “I don’t rightly know for sure.” he replied, “I was just walking down the road an she pulled up along side of me and said, “Hop in Bubba, lets go for a ride. So we rode out to old man Wilson’s pasture and she drove down to the creek bottom and told me to git out of the truck, which I done. Then she got out and commenced to taking her clothes off and leaned back against the truck with her arms spread wide and nekid as a jaybird she said, “Bubba you can have anything you want.” Bubba then said, “I couldn’t wear none of her clothes so I took the Truck.”
