How sad it is that this is acceptable in todays world, that we are more concerned about what chemicals we should use to sanitize our environment than we are with what we put in or on our bodies.
Everything around us these days is artificial, from the air we breathe, the foods we eat, even the water we drink. We work in an artificial environment, then come home to our little boxes and live in an artificial world, a little box called TV. We have become consumed with the latest scandal or gossip on celebrities, and cast into the dark shadows the good deeds done by so many. We are drawn to sensationalized news stories with the hope of seeing a car crash and its victim being dismembered.We are inundated with ads telling us we are not good enough, our stuff is not good enough, and if we take this artificial pill we will be complete and happy, and fifty pounds lighter.
As long as we allow these creators of the artificial to continue to invade and consume us, ultimately they control us. We must stand up and say “No More”, we must take control of our own lives and make our own decisions about what is right and wrong, and what is best for us. If we begin our journey back to the natural and the pure, only then will we be free, only then will we find true happiness. It is not an easy journey, there are many obstacles, there are many distractions, but, the rewards are many. This is a journey that anyone anywhere can travel. It like any journey begins with a single step, then another, and another, and like any journey the more steps we take the easier it becomes.
