  1. I love your article. To say i am sick of hearing that rain or overcast weather is “miserable”, “horrible”, “gloomy” is an understatement. The obsession with constant sunshine is sad and pathetic. I think americans need a drought to appreciate what they have. I’m so sick of people echoing this same sentiment as though they were robots

    • Well Pat, you got your wish…lol California especially has a very bad drought.

      That being said, i believe the proverb is referring to weather metaphorically.

      My interpretation was: “Do not pray when things are bad, if you don not pray when life is good.”
