Author and illustrator Joan Walsh Anglund, has sold more than 45 million copies of her inspirational books (which number close to 100), making her arguably one of the most successful writers in the world. She is perhaps best known for penning stories of love, spirituality and friendship and for her illustrations of round-faced, featureless children. Her drawings have also inspired lines of greeting cards, figurines, and other merchandise.
