Jesse Louis Jackson, Sr.(October 8, 1941) is an African-American civil rights activist and Baptist minister. In 1965, he participated in the Selma to Montgomery marches organized by James Bevel, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and other civil rights leaders in Alabama.
