Isn’t that guy just as handsome as he can be, proud too! I’ll never forget the day I met him. Tony and I had taken a journey to the top of RiverRest mountain one day last spring. It was a most pleasant day for a stroll through the woods. We marveled at the gala of wildflowers poking their beauty up from the forest floor.

We arrived at the top of the mountain where there is a clearing for a once proposed home site. The area has healed nicely and mysterously these pine trees appeared. I have not seen them anywhere else on the property. This is the first year I have seen them flower.

I have no Idea what type of pine tree this is, if someone knows and would like to share their knowledge, please feel free to do so.
