Todays Thought, Worry Not

Thought for Today
“I keep the telephone of my mind open to peace,
harmony, health, love and abundance.
Then, whenever doubt, anxiety or fear try to call me,
they keep getting a busy signal
and soon they’ll forget my number.”

~Edith Armstrong~

In our busy work-a-day lives, we allow ourselves to be inundated with manufactured fears and worries. We awaken each day with the worries and fears left over from yesterday, and then we turn on the television or radio news and allow these corporate predators to fill our hearts and minds with more fear and worry. Turn off the noisemakers grab a cup of coffee and sit on the porch; listen to the birds singing, let their songs fill your heart with their joy. Reflect on the positive things in your life and the positive things today will bring.

If you are constantly worried that bad things are going to happen, guess what, bad things are going to happen. Have you ever wondered why some people always seem to be happy and care free? It is not because they are gifted, blessed, richer, or special, it is because they keep their minds clear of negatives. They have learned that the only thing worry accomplishes is stress, depression, anxiety, and eventually for some heart failure.

Learn the powerful tool of positive thinking, and worry not!
