  1. I agree that there are many spoiled people out there, but for instance when i told my mother this quote she said that she handicapped me then and she is correct in a way. My parents, like many others, wanted their child not to have to go through the hardships that they had to deal with in their own lives. A noble ideal and i am thankful for that, but it was a rather rude awakening once i began to live on my own. Not being a parent myself i don’t know that line between wanting an easy life for your child, and yet also teaching them about and preparing them for the world but i can only imagine that it is not an easy line to walk.
