Some of the most generous people I know have no money. That’s how it should be. When we have no money, it’s a different lifestyle. When you see the old people… In our language we have no such word as”please” or “thank you”, because of what is expected of us is that we share and give what we have. Today we have to say “please”, we have to say “thank you”, we have to beg for things. In the old days, it was a given thing that we would share things. That was a part of who we are. And not only for Aboriginal people, I would expect people all around the world would do the same things before money. But nowadays “It’s mine.” There are words like “mine.” We don’t share our things anymore. And it’s become… It kills us as human beings, as a society, as a race. When I say “race”, I’m talking about the human race. But we deny people shelter, we deny other people food, we deny other people their survival, purely because of money.

“The great struggle in life is to be better each and every day.
And if you take a look around the horizon of humanity,
my God, is there anything we can do big or small
to make the life of just one person a little better?
And that is no small accomplishment.” ~ David Letterman more
Love is but a song to sing.
Fear’s the way we die.
You can make the mountains ring.
Or make the angels cry.
Though the bird is on the wing
And you may not know why. Come on people now,
Smile on your brother.
Everybody get together.
Try to love one another Right now.
Some may come and some may go.
We shall surely pass.
When the one that left us here
Returns for us at last.
We are but a moment’s sunlight
Fading in the grass.
If you hear the song I sing
You will understand.
You hold the key to love and fear
All in your trembling hand.
Just one key unlocks them both.
It’s there at you command.
~ Dino Valenti
“On America’s team,
let’s not choose to be against one another. Let’s choose to be for one another. My great-great-great grandfather had no choice. We have one. I pray we dedicate ourselves
to being the best team we can be, working and living together, representing the highest ideals of mankind. Leading the way for all nations to follow.”
~ LaDainian Tomlinson more
“To ignore the welfare of others
is to place ourselves out of harmony with human life.
And we can gain nothing of value from life
when we are at variance with human life,
because we are all dependent upon each other
for what we receive in this world.”
~ Christian D. Larson more
